Ingredients

  • 24 ounce jar of dill pickle spears about 15 spears
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons coconut cream
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ½ cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and coconut cream until smooth. In another bowl, combine almond flour, nutritional yeast and the remaining spices. Stir well.
  • Drain pickles and pat dry with a paper towel. One at a time, dredge spears through egg wash (shaking off any excess) followed by the almond flour mixture until each spear is evenly coated. Set breaded pickles on a plate.
  • Spray the preheated air fryer basket with cooking spray. Spray the breaded pickle spears with cooking spray until visibly saturated. Working in batches if necessary, air fry pickles in a single-layer for 10 to 12 minutes or until the breading is crispy, crunchy and golden brown. Serve with your favorite ranch dressing for dipping and ENJOY! :)

Notes

No air fryer? No worries. To make fried pickles in the oven, simply follow the air fryer instructions except bake the pickle spears on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet at 400 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes.
